Hello everyone!!

Sorry for the lack of updates I’ve just been really busy enjoying California!

After a 2 hour ferry ride from Victoria to Washington State and being allowed into the United States; I took a 15 hour drive direct to San Jose, California. I made it to my best friend Kitra’s birthday party to surprise her on Saturday night. She thought I was coming the next day!

We headed to LA for the first half of the week, and stayed at our friend Chris’s place (thanks Chris!).

Headed to a tapping of the Conan show on Monday! If you watched Monday night you might have seen us!

Tuesday we went down to Venice beach and took in the atmosphere, a lot of crazy people in LA!

Going to head to the beach at Santa Cruz today! And Yosemite tomorrow before heading home!

It has been a great trip!

After staying in Calgary for two nights with Jeremy and Stacey, (Thanks again!), seeing Banff, flying around the mountains in a helicopter, seeing the lake they used in an xmen movie, visiting Lake Louise, and checking out the famous Peter’s Drive-In burger and milkshakes with Hollie I have now moved onto Vancouver, BC where it was exactly 5k from Sudbury, ON and time for an oil change!

I’ll be hanging around here for a bit and then maybe go over to the island before heading south!

Apparently I can go at least 30kms further after the digital read out says 0 km to empty…

Gas is cheaper then at home though!

I’m finding that my steering is off about half a centimeter to the left.. It’s too bad because this is a very straight road..

Last night I slept in the car at a rest stop between Sault Ste Marie and Thunder Bay, I was hoping to get to Thunder Bay since I had learned a church there was having a pancake breakfast before their service but i had to sleep and then didnt have enough time to get there! now I want pancakes..

Shout out to New Life Christian Fellowship, too bad I couldn’t make it to your pancake breakfast or your service. (ps. no connection, just found about them on the web.)

It was freezing this morning when i woke up! but the sun hitting the cold water just outside the rest stop made for some nice photos. amazing that I chose that spot to stop to get to see that in the morning! hopefully they turned out.. I’ll put them up later.

Northern Ontario was amazing to see and explore both days had great scenery, I’ll upload some pictures later. But that means I’m in Winipeg, MB now!

Just waiting on my pizza before I go a bit further for today.

Well I ended up leaving london late last night, because my iphone was taking too long to sync all my music onto it…

so after stopping in to see a few friends along the way I found a best western to rest my head at for the night, I saw a park on the way to the hotel so im going to check that out today. before going on!

The first day of vacation, I already feel relaxed and rested!

Went to the gym this morning… Check.
Packed my suitcases.. Check.
Camera…Phone…Toothbrush… Check, check, check.
SPF 80.. check!
